Let’s make movies!
In this two-week workshop, participants will work together in storyboarding, scripting, directing, acting and camera work to create a variety of short movie projects. These are participant-made projects mentored throughout the program with tailored instructions based on their skill level. New and returning movie makers of all skill levels are welcome! This workshop
will encourage creativity, experimentation, and collaboration. We work on projects in the studio and in the field. The PortMedia Studio is located at NCM Hub, 331 High Street, Suite #2 in the Newburyport Senior/Community Center. The studio entrance is the door to the far right of the main entrance.
On the final Friday, we will gather with friends and family to
watch our finished movie projects.
No prior experience is required. All levels of skill are welcome.
Requirements:
- Rising 4th through 8th graders
- All skill levels welcome.
- New and returning participants welcome!
- Nut-Free Snack for break at 10:30
- Water Bottle
