Around the World Cooking
Come and enjoy making foods that have their origin in different countries around the world. We’ll be making dishes from Asia, Latin America, Europe and Middle East to include Main dish, soup, bread and dessert. All recipes will be vegetarian and nut free. Kitchen safety, sanitation and basic cooking skills are emphasized along with nutritional concepts. Cooperative participation is fostered along with an enjoyable, relaxed approach.
Fran Kaplan is a former Home Economics teacher with years of experience and who has taught many youth cooking classes for the Newburyport Recreation Department.
