Mural Project
These workshops are offered at no cost by Small Solutions Big Ideas Connect Kids. This is an effort to connect families to bring youth closer to nature through learning, exploration and creating art.  The children share their insights and art with SSBI Kenyan youth students.
This is the second series of workshops. The results will be part of a public mural project. What are these workshops?   An opportunity for families with their children to explore more of the nature and wildlife around us and to create art inspired by the morning exploration with Audubon.  In the afternoon, art workshops will be held at the Parker River Wildlife Center.   Families are encouraged to attend both activities.  This program is part of building a public mural of children's art that increases awareness of us all,  of the beauty and value of our wildlife and environment.

This event is sponsored by a Newburyport & Mass Cultural Council grant and by Small Solutions Big Ideas Connect Kids programs, working with Newburyport Youth Services, Parker River National Wildlife Center, and Audubon Joppa Education programs.

Children may attend independently if they are 8 years or older.  We will have a staff of 3 or 4 accompanying the group for the day.
