Grill and Chill is a weekly hangout for youth entering grades 6+ at Perkin's Park. There is a $10 Drop-In fee per night that includes burgers, hot dog, snacks and drinks. You can pay in advance for all weeks here for $75 for the entire summer.
Participants can hang out with friends and staff as well as get involved with the weekly activities if they choose. Some activities require pre-registrations to cover the cost of supplies and to make sure we have enough! There are also games, sports and more to explore at Grill and Chill.
Tie Dye (Pre Register)
Between bites of your burger, take any white garment from basic to breathtaking at this week's Grill and Chill. We'll provide bucket hats, t-shirts, and totes, but bring anything from home that could use a new pattern!
Summer Olympics (Drop-In)
Earn your team the gold in our mini-olympics at Grill and Chill! Compete in events like Capture The Flag, relays and three legged races for the chanve to be honored in an Olympic Awards Ceremony.
Acrylic Pour (Pre Register)
Try your hand at this abstract art form, get a bite to eat, and maybe squeeze a round of cornhole in -- all at this week's Grill and Chill! We'll provide 8.5"x11" individual canvases for pouring over.
Water Fight (Drop-In)
Splash or be Splashed. Feel free to bring your favorite water fight tools and wear clothes you don't mind getting wet.
Hydrodipping (Pre Register)
Give some everyday items a makeover with this outdoor art project! We'll provide 2 items to dip per participant, but feel free to bring your own projects from home; a plain Stanley cup, phone case, or even a pair of shoes that could use a new look.
Bubble Soccer (Drop In)
Have you ever wanted to BECOME the soccer ball? Now is your chance! Fill up on grilled delicacies and get literally rolled onto the soccer field in an enormous bubble. Don't miss out.
Video Game Truck (Drop-In)
Guaranteed to be the event of the season, a 24-player gaming setup on wheels will join us at Perkins as we grill and chill. Be there or be square!
Slime Time (Drop-In)
Make a batch of your dream slime during this outdoor slime-fest! Just be sure to keep the reactive chemicals away from your food.
Breakfast For Dinner (Drop In)
Brinner at Grill and Chill will be a feast fit for kings -- get ready to indulge in pancakes, sausage, and most importantly, maple syrup.
