Get ready for a fast-paced, high-energy week of serious training and serious fun!
Our Musical Theater Intensive is designed for young performers who want to work hard, grow quickly, and be part of something exciting. In just five days, actors will rehearse and perform Disney’s The Little Mermaid, JR., building confidence, discipline, and stage skills in a focused, supportive environment.
All experience levels are welcome. Whether this is your first show or your fifteenth, every performer will be challenged at their level and supported every step of the way.
Throughout the week, students will receive hands-on training in acting, vocal performance, and movement while working toward a fully staged production. It’s an immersive, collaborative experience that pushes performers to rise to the occasion, and have an absolute blast doing it!
Interested in the behind-the-scenes side of theater?
We will also accept up to three Stage Managers (rising 6th–8th graders only) who are eager to learn the craft of stage management and be an essential part of the production process. Stage Managers will work closely with the directing team, assist with organization and rehearsal flow, and help bring the show to life from offstage.
*Please sign up for this separately, do not sign up for both, we're only able to take 3 Stage Managers*
Join us for an unforgettable week under the sea!
Instructors: Stephanie Phillips (NHS Theater & Dance Director), Risa Annicchiarico (Molin/Nock/NHS Music/Choral Director), & Brittany Shapiro (Acting Coach/Producer)
