Snack Engineering

During this Snack Engineering Program students will explore the science behind their favorite treats while creating unique snacks from scratch. Each week, they'll dive into hands-on activities, such as engineering their own chips, making white chocolate from scratch, and creating homemade marshmallow. From understanding the chemistry of caramelization to experimenting with flavors and textures, this program offers a fun and educational journey into the world of culinary creativity. By the end of the course, students will have crafted a variety of snacks to share with family and friends, gaining valuable knowledge in food science and engineering.

Re Engineering Reeses Cups
During this program students recreate Reese Cups into a new inclusive snack that is nut free. Students will engineer chocolate flavors, create a new filling, make a recipe and develop packaging and labeling. Students end the program with a brand new snack they created.
